Welcome to Troop 499 (boys) and Troop 8499 (girls). Troop 499 has served the Newcastle, Renton and South Bellevue area for over 50 years. Troop 8499 (girls) joined in service February 1, 2019.
Our Troops meet together and do plan a few separate activities, on Monday evenings at 7pm at Newport Hills Community Church following the Renton School District calendar. During school breaks & summer vacations we plan fun outdoor events including hikes, backpacking, snow camping, canoe outings, family camping, and summer camp.
We have an active group of over 60 Scouts, 2 Scoutmasters, 12 Assistant Scoutmaster and numerous parent volunteers to support our program. Our doors are always open and welcome you to visit.
